Jay grew up in Indiana touring from '64 through '69, from Pennsylvania to Chicago with a five piece band, The Dukes. He spent the 70's in and around Seattle playing in bands and writing many songs inspired by living in the northwest. Jay then spent 12 years in Florida playing clubs, colleges and concerts, writing and recording several albums.
Jay has released his first CD, "Melody Maker" in January, '97 and a second CD, "Blues Maker", in August, '97, in Portland, Oregon.2002 saw the release of the new, all original CD, "DOWNTOWN".
